Product Description

Red Daylily Bulb

New flowers continue to open even on stems freshly cut. Red daylilies can add a punch of color. The daylily can grow over 36 inches tall.

Hemerocallis comes from a Greek word meaning day and beautiful. Some daylilies bleach or slick in full sun. These plants provide three-season beauty to the landscape with their wonderful foliage and pretty flowers. It looks wonderful around water, decks, sidewalks, and flower beds. Daylilies can be planted indoors or out. Planting them in both containers and the ground makes them versatile. They look and go well indoors when one has a green room or an area like a garden room that gets a lot of sunlight. People also use them in pots or planters sitting around a fireplace or hearth.

DAYLILIES ARE VERSATILE AND DO WELL ALMOST ANYWHERE THEY ARE PLANTED

Lilies love sunlight, and they should get a minimum of 6 hours of sun daily. It prefers being moved in the shade during the hottest part of the day. It is good to plant them during the spring and or fall. These are great flowers to have in your flower beds in front or around your house. Add daylilies anywhere to make the area stand out. The bloom can grow up to 12 inches wide. They can be planted outdoors around decks, in natural areas or places that get both sun and part shade. They are versatile and grow where soils are hard, and other plants may have a hard time adapting too.
