They are pale green or yellow with an orange band and stand erect instead of dropping down. The flower’s nectar can be used to make gourmet honey. In the fall, the heart-shaped leaves will turn a bright golden yellow. Young leaves are light green, and when they mature, they turn a shiny, bright green on top and paler green underneath.
