Least Bluet is a Tiny, Robust Colored Wildflower

Least Bluet or Houstonia pusilla is a tiny plant that can be difficult to spot in the wild because it is only 2 to 4 inches in height, or 6 inches maximum height-wise. It is native to the United States and can be called tiny Bluet, small Bluet, or star violet. It is a wildflower with flowers and a thin stem with branches near the midsection of the plant. There are four robust colored petals, and they are purple-blue or deep violet, or white with a red-purple center and yellow focal point, and face the direction of upwards toward the sky.

Buy Least Bluet can Give a Feeling of Peace and Tranquility.

This plant blooms in March or April and has leaves that are extremely small and straight. There are a total of seven bluets in Missouri, and some are larger than others. These plants include basal leaves and grow in wet meadows, sandy woods, or valleys, and fields in acidic soils. It is safe to pick and handle on your own. It is part of the Rubiaceae family and genus Houstonia under the species pusilla. The least Bluet is annuals that cover the ground and need to water regularly. They should be set 3 to 6 inches apart and gather total sun exposure.

It can become an invasive plant among others and be seen as a weed, therefore. They can be found on ledges and in between stones and spotted when the grass clips or cuts. They will all be the same kind of flower and the same size. They are fast-growing and can be found on hillsides and grow throughout the summer when they blossom the most. They are supposed to give a feeling of peace and tranquility.
