Winged Sumac Shrub

Posted by Tammy Sons on 22nd Mar 2018

The perfect small tree for your yard!

This small tree produces multiple trunks, like a shrub, and can provide coverage for some small fauna. The leaves are little, green, and grow down the length of the stems of the plant. Summer yields clusters of small, greenish-yellow flowers, which are followed by clusters of red berries in the fall. Seeds can last into winter, and attract birds. Can be planted in large planters, or containers. Adaptable to many types of soil. Tolerant to drought, or excessive water. Adaptable to urban areas. Hardy in zones 3-6.
