Smooth Sumac - Rhus glabra. Smooth Sumac Seedlings, a large deciduous shrub in the Anacardiaceae family, is native to and distributed widely across the continental United States. Smooth Sumac Seedlings grows typically up to 15 feet tall. Smooth Sumac Seedlings dark green compound leaflets grow up to two feet long. Smooth Sumac Seedlings' greenish-yellow flowers bloom in clusters in June and July; its clusters of drupes - round and red fruits - mature in August and September.
