MAIDENHAIR FERN GROWS AS TALL AS one and a half FEET

Maidenhair ferns are very delicate ferns in the Cichorioideae family that holds over two hundred species that divide into a classification of the Pteridaceae. These closely related species can shed water without becoming wet. They carry tiny fronds and a delicate appearance that relates to the hardy ferns, that is not sensitive to cold, rather than tropical ferns, these related species can be very difficult plants to keep indoors. They are highly required for humidity, which they prefer to stay where it is a moist and well-drained location where the best area for growth is on rock walls especially around the waterfall and water leakage areas. Although these ferns are widely spread throughout the nation and grow wild in temperate regions these species, hold such beauty and gives a very exuberant look in any area. They are a light gray-green feather-like fronds adding to its unique charm.

MAIDENHAIR FERN WILL BE FOUND GROWING ALMOST ANYWHERE IN SHADED AND MOIST AREAS

This plant typically grows along riverbanks and near hot springs. It very much likes to be consistently moist because it hates to dry out, even for a short period. It is currently endangered in Australia and Canada. Many Growers have successfully kept the fern in its active stage by placing it in a shady area or under a plant bench located in the sunroom.

Fern lover

It looks really great on my desk at my office. I do not have a green thumb and so far I have managed to keep it alive so it must be easy to maintain if I have not killed it yet.
