We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

Foxtail Sedge - Carex Alopecoidea. The Foxtail Sedge is a perennial that grows long, thin green leaves and thrives in areas where there are wet conditions like swamps and marshes where roots stay underwater all or most of the time. It is not uncommon to find it in most fields or places that often flood like next to creek beds and streams. This plant likes to stay in the partial shade or full sun and grows best in the middle and northeastern U.S. into Canada. While it does not have a flower, the Foxtail Sedge blooms in July when pollination is most likely.

Foxtail Sedge will look great around water gardens and in natural areas.

This grass is a perennial and will grow back every year so it will usually only need to be planted one time. Foxtail Sedge will grow best in July and August. This plant is mainly found in the Northeastern part of the states. It is also classified as a perennial or a gammoid.

Foxtail Sedge can be planted around your yard or a water area such as a lake or pond.

It will grow well in moist soils conditions and can also adapt to healthy soils. Foxtail Sedge is excellent to plant where there are holes on a lawn where water will stand; it will love the moist soils in those conditions. Foxtail Sedge is very easy grass to grow. The Foxtail has many classifications, a sedge, perennial, grass or herbaceous plant. It is mainly found growing in the floodplains or open meadows. It has a tuft bloom and is very fluffy to the touch or soft. It shows mostly its flower in the summer months. It can grow well in moist to dry conditions.
