Description

Dogwood trees can adapt very quickly to any soil, whether it's heavy or sandy. Acidic soil would be the best kind of soil to take care of these trees.

Moreover, the Dogwood Trees are tolerant towards droughts, although they do need water now and then during the hot summer days. They can grow in several different climates. They create a beautiful statement to just about any kind of landscape.

Dogwood trees are one of the best types of tree to incorporate into the landscape, whether residential or commercial property.

These trees are unique any time of year and are so beautiful to work with. These trees are magnificent ornamental trees for anywhere in the landscape, and they look amazing when planted in natural areas. These trees are native to the eastern portion of the United States and are most likely one of the most popular. The bloom on these trees is the state flower for North Carolina. These trees were known for their medicinal qualities and were used by Native Americans frequently. The blossoms on these beautiful trees will begin to appear in spring and last through most of the summer. Each bloom will have four petals that can be white, red, or pink. The foliage is a beautiful medium green that will turn to fabulous colors in the autumn months. Berries will also replace the blooms on these trees. Many birds and a variety of other small wildlife find these berries very tasty. These trees will look remarkable when planted in groups of different colors. Although they can acclimate too many different soil types, they prefer moist, acidic soils with good drainage available. These trees are remarkably easy to grow and require little maintenance to remain healthy.
