We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.
How We Protect Your Plants For Transit
All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped
Upon Receipt Of Your Plants
Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

Brandywine Red Maple Tree is a fast-growing deciduous tree that is known for the red, purple fall color
Brandywine Red Maple Tree, which is also commonly referred to as red maple, is hardy throughout USDA Zones 4-8. It is known for its beautiful colors that last approximately two weeks. Beginning the fall with the red leaves and darkening to the beautiful darker red-purple mix. It is a hardy tree that averages 40-50 feet tall with an average 30-foot spread and having an overall oval shape. This variety of maple is often used in parks to provide shade and add color interest. Leaves are medium to dark green on top with a grey-green on the bottom that is 3-5” long with three main triangular lobes with tooth margins. The bark is a lighter grey when the tree is younger, but will darken as the tree ages.

The Brandywine Red Maple is a male tree. Therefore it is considered a seedless tree and will not produce what many people call the helicopter seeds that spin in the wind as they fall from the trees. It prefers slightly acidic soil with damp soil. It grows fast for the first 10-12 years in a sunny location or partial shade, and then the growth rate slows down. It is native throughout parts of Eastern Canada and throughout the United States from Texas to Florida and up the eastern states. Shipping is usually a bare root or potted, depending on the size of the tree ordered.

It is tolerant of most conditions, except where it is too wet and may be subjected to root rot. Considered a problem free tree because it is resistant to diseases or insects, including the leafhopper, which is found within other maple species.
